Modules

How Auto-Update Works
- Once documentation has been generated, SiteDocs watches for newly registered public custom post types. A new one is logged as New content type in the Changelog and flags the documentation as needing a rescan.
- A WP-Cron event (
sitedocs_nightly_scan) runs once a day. When Auto-Update on Change is on and the flag is set, it rescans the site, regenerates the sections (keeping any you edited by hand) and logs Auto-regenerated (user: System (Cron)). - If the toggle is off or nothing changed, the daily run does nothing and makes no AI calls.
Automatic regenerations keep sections you edited by hand. Translations of other sections are removed. See Documentation Generation.
WP-Cron only runs when the site gets traffic. On low-traffic sites, set up a real server cron that calls wp-cron.php.
