[returndesk_portal]
Renders the Return Center - a page where customers find their order and create or track return requests. It works for guests, so customers who checked out without an account can still request returns.
[returndesk_portal]No attributes are needed.
How It Works
- The customer enters their order number and billing email, then clicks Find Order. Logged-in customers can leave the email blank.
- ReturnDesk checks that the email matches the order's billing email. If it doesn't, it shows "We could not find an order matching those details."
- The customer sees the order's items and can submit a return request - with reason, description and attachments - just like in My Account.
- Existing requests for the order are listed, and pending requests can be cancelled.
The billing-email check means only someone who knows both the order number and the email on the order can see it.
Use cases:
- A "Returns" page linked from your menu or footer
- A link in order confirmation emails
- Guest checkouts, where customers don't have a My Account page
