PDF Export
Go to Tools → SiteDocs → Documentation and click Export PDF.
The export is a self-contained, branded HTML file. It opens with a Save as PDF bar at the top - click it and choose Save as PDF as the printer. The bar doesn't appear in the PDF.
Export Contents
- Cover in your Brand Colour, with the agency logo, site name, "Prepared by agency · Generated date"
- Table of contents
- Every documentation section with its type badge; edited sections are marked "This section has been manually edited"
- Footer with your PDF Footer Text (or a default "Generated by SiteDocs" line with the site URL)
Developer notes, video links and translations are not included.
Where the File Is Saved
The file is written to wp-content/uploads/sitedocs/{site-name}-manual-{date}.html. SiteDocs adds an .htaccess with Options -Indexes to that folder so it can't be browsed. Exporting again on the same day overwrites that day's file.
Export
Click Export PDF. The file opens from its uploads URL.
Save as PDF
Click Save as PDF in the bar at the top (or press Ctrl/Cmd + P) and choose Save as PDF as the printer. Each section is kept on one page where possible.
Anyone who knows the file URL can open it. Delete old exports from uploads/sitedocs/ if the documentation contains sensitive details.
