Installation

Install Forge Pro only on a test, development, or staging site.

Download from your account

Upload the plugin

Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the ZIP, and click Install Now.

Activate

Click Activate Plugin. If the free Windcodex Forge plugin is active, it is deactivated automatically.

Complete the onboarding wizard

On first run, the wizard explains what the plugin gives an AI (PHP execution, file access, and database writes). It reports whether the site was detected as production, and asks you to acknowledge that you have a backup.

Activate your license

Go to Settings → Windcodex Forge Pro → License and paste your key. See License.

Connect an AI platform

Copy the Connector URL from the Connection tab. See Quick Start.

Manual Installation

Upload the windcodex-forge-pro folder to /wp-content/plugins/ and activate it.

What Happens on Activation

Default settings are saved. Read tools and sandbox tools are on; direct file writes and database writes are off.
The environment is classified as production or non-production. See Live-Site Block.
Tables for snapshots, background jobs, memory, and the activity log are created.

Upgrading from Forge

Configuration carries over automatically because both editions share one settings option. Connected apps stay authorized.
