Email Alerts

This is a Pro feature. It is off by default.

Configure under Settings → ScraperBlock → Advanced.

What Is Sent

When a request is blocked, an email with the subject "ScraperBlock Pro Alert: [reason]" is sent, containing:

  • the block reason (for example blocked_user_agent, rate_limit or ip_blocked)
  • the visitor's IP address
  • the user agent
  • the requested URL

Cooldown

At most one email is sent every 10 minutes. Blocks during the cooldown aren't emailed; they're counted, and the next alert says how many more requests were blocked since the previous one. Every block is still recorded on the Logs tab.

For ongoing monitoring, use the Analytics tab and the Threat Feed.
