Tool Groups

WindCodex Ops ships 101 tools in 5 groups. Each group can be switched on or off independently in Settings → Windcodex Ops → Tools. Every group is on by default, and changes apply to connected AI platforms immediately.

Each group carries a risk badge. The badge is informational, not a gate: it helps you decide which groups to turn off for your site.

Need WooCommerce, users, custom fields, page builders, security and backups, or advanced admin? Those are coming in Ops Pro.

Read-Only Mode

With Read-only mode on (General → Connector), only tools that read data are offered to the AI. Every tool that creates, changes or deletes something is hidden.

What Is Deliberately Missing

There is no tool for executing PHP, running raw SQL, running shell or WP-CLI commands, or editing plugin and theme files anywhere in Ops. That is not a setting: the capability does not exist in the code. Those are coming in WindCodex Forge, for staging sites.

High-Risk Actions

Tools that change many things at once - wp_find_replace, wp_bulk_publish_drafts, wp_bulk_trash_old_drafts, wp_bulk_delete_unused_media and wp_cleanup_database - default to a dry run that reports exactly what would change. Nothing happens until the AI calls the tool again with confirm: true.

From version 1.1.1, these single-item tools are also treated as high-risk, because the undo log can't fully reverse them: wp_delete_media (permanent), wp_compress_image (overwrites the original file), wp_delete_category and wp_delete_tag (undo only recreates the term), wp_delete_menu_item, wp_remove_widget and wp_remove_navigation_menu_item. With Require preview before high-risk actions on (the default), their first call returns a preview of the target and only a second call with confirm: true applies the change.

With Email me on high-risk actions on, every high-risk action that actually runs - single-item or confirmed bulk - sends an email to the site admin address.
