Quick Start

Open Settings

Go to Settings → ScraperBlock (or the ScraperBlock admin menu).

Enable Protection

Confirm Protection Enabled is toggled on.

Enable Robots.txt Blocking

Toggle on Robots.txt Blocking - this instructs compliant bots not to crawl.

Enable Meta NoAI Tags

Toggle on Meta NoAI Tags - adds HTML meta tags to every page.

Set Rate Limit

Set Rate Limit to your desired requests-per-minute threshold.

Enable Htaccess Blocking (Apache only)

Optionally enable Htaccess Blocking for Apache servers to block listed bots at the server level, before PHP loads.

Verify

Visit your site as an anonymous user and confirm your content is served normally.
