In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the ZIP file, and click Install Now.
Activate
Click Activate Plugin. WooCommerce must already be active.
Enter carrier credentials
Go to WooCommerce → ShipLabel and open the USPS and/or FedEx tab to enter your API credentials, then click Test Connection.
Set your shipper address
Go to the Shipper address tab, fill in your "From" address, and click Validate with USPS.
What Happens on Activation
- Default settings are saved.
- The tracking sync cron event (
shiplabel_sync_tracking_statuses) is scheduled to run twice daily. - The
/shiplabel/tracking-webhook/rewrite rule is registered (rewrite rules are flushed automatically the first time a webhook secret is generated).
After Activation
Add carrier credentials
Enter your USPS and/or FedEx API credentials on their respective settings tabs and click Test Connection.
Validate your shipper address
Go to Shipper address, fill in your "From" address, and validate it with USPS.
Add shipping methods (optional)
Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping and add the USPS/FedEx shipping methods to your zones for live rates at checkout.
Generate your first label
Open any order and use the ShipLabel panel to generate a label.
Both USPS and FedEx offer a sandbox/testing environment. Select Sandbox / Testing on each carrier's settings tab to generate test labels without being charged while you set things up.
