Installation

Download from your account

Log in to windcodex.com (opens in a new tab) and go to My Account → Subscriptions. Download the latest windcodex-scraperblock-pro.zip.

Upload the plugin

In your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the ZIP file, and click Install Now.

Activate

Click Activate Plugin.

Enter your license key

Go to Settings → ScraperBlock → License, enter your license key, and click Activate License.

After Activation

Verify your license

Go to Settings → ScraperBlock → License and confirm the status shows Active.

Review the Advanced tab

Go to Settings → ScraperBlock → Advanced. Behavioral detection, honeypot traps and the threat feed are on by default. Turn on WooCommerce Protection, IP access control, geo-blocking or scheduling as needed.

Add trusted IPs

If you turn on IP Blocking & Whitelist, add your monitoring tools and office or server IPs to the whitelist.

Review analytics

After a day, check Settings → ScraperBlock → Analytics for blocked request patterns.

What Happens on Activation

The free ScraperBlock plugin is deactivated automatically.
Your existing ScraperBlock settings are kept (they're shared with the free plugin), and Pro settings are added with their defaults.
.htaccess rules are rewritten if .htaccess Blocking is on.
On deactivation, ScraperBlock Pro removes its .htaccess rules.

ScraperBlock Pro is a standalone plugin. The free version does not need to be installed. Pro includes all free features.
