Proactive Nudges
Proactive nudges automatically open the chat widget or send a message to the customer without them clicking.
Navigate to WooCommerce → ShopChat → Settings → Proactive Nudges.

| Exit-Intent Nudge | No | Open the chat when exit intent is detected (mouse moves toward browser bar) |
| Idle Nudge (seconds) | 0 | Open the chat after X seconds of page inactivity (0 = disabled) |
Example Nudge Message (configurable): "Still looking? I can help you find the perfect product."
⚠️
Aggressive nudge settings (low idle seconds on all pages) can frustrate customers. Use sparingly - recommend on product pages only, with idle seconds ≥ 60.
