Developer Notes
Developer notes are private notes for the next developer - things like "this CPT is synced from the CRM nightly, don't edit titles by hand". They are attached to a section but kept out of the client-facing output.
Open the note panel
Click the 🔒 button ("Developer note (admin only)") on a section.
Write the note
Type the note in the text box.
Save or delete
Click Save to store it, or Delete to remove it.
- Sections with a note show the note panel open.
- Notes are stored separately (
sitedocs_developer_notes), so they survive regeneration. - Notes are not included in the export or in AI Chat.
- Saving and deleting notes is recorded in the Changelog.
