Connecting an AI Platform
Forge works with any Model Context Protocol (MCP) client, including Claude and ChatGPT, using OAuth only. Everything here lives on Settings → Windcodex Forge → Connection.

Access tokens last 1 hour and refresh tokens 30 days. The registration endpoint is rate-limited per IP.
Registration
- Automatic - most platforms register themselves. Toggle OAuth auto-registration off to allow only the static client.
- Static Client ID and Secret - paste them into a platform's Advanced/OAuth settings if it cannot auto-register.
Connected Apps
Every platform that has connected is listed with the user it acts as. Revoke cuts off one app immediately.
⚠️
Read-only does not mean harmless. The database read tool can SELECT from any table, which may include user records and stored options. Connect only AI platforms you trust, and connect them as a user with the access you intend to grant.
