Quick Start
Follow these steps to restrict your first product in under two minutes.
Enable WooCommerce geolocation
Go to WooCommerce → Settings → General, find Default customer location, and set it to Geolocate (or Geolocate (with page caching support) for cached stores). Save.
Choose a global Restriction Mode
Go to WooCommerce → GeoBlock. Under Restriction Mode, choose how restricted products should behave across the store. Save Settings.
Learn about Restriction Modes →
Set per-product rules
Open any product in the editor. Scroll to the GeoBlock - Country Restrictions meta box.
- Choose Exclude to block listed countries, or Include to allow only listed countries.
- Search for countries by name or 2-letter code and select them.
- Save the product.
Verify with Debug Mode (optional)
Go to WooCommerce → GeoBlock → Advanced and enable Debug Mode. Visit the front end as an admin - a bar at the bottom of the page shows your detected country, IP, and detection source.
That's it! Your product is now restricted. To understand all restriction options in detail, continue to Global Settings.
