Settings
Go to Settings → Windcodex Forge. There are four tabs.
| Tab | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Connection | Connector URL, OAuth discovery, connected apps, static client |
| Tools | Turn individual tools on or off |
| General | Connector status, read-only mode, acting user, limits, data cleanup |
| Activity | Recent tool calls made by connected AI platforms |
Connection
See Connecting an AI Platform.
Tools
One toggle per tool group, with a risk badge. See the Tools Reference. All tools are on by default.
General
Connector
| Option | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Connector status | On | Turn off to immediately stop every connected AI platform from reaching the site, without deleting configuration |
| Read-only mode | Off | Expose only read tools. Forge is already read-only, so this matters mainly for consistency with Forge Pro |
| Acting user | Current admin | Used only for tool calls that are not tied to an OAuth-authenticated user. OAuth connections act as whoever logged in and approved access |
| Max results per list call | 50 | Cap on rows returned by list and query tools (1-200) |
| Requests per minute | 120 | Per-user cap on connector calls (10-600) |
| OAuth auto-registration | On | Let platforms register themselves. Off allows only the static client |
Data & Privacy
| Option | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Delete all data on uninstall | Off | On: settings, OAuth clients and tokens, the activity log, saved memories, and tables are removed when the plugin is deleted. Off: everything stays for a later reinstall |
The Plugins screen shows an accurate confirmation before you delete the plugin. It skips the warning when Forge Pro is active, because Pro then owns the shared data.
Activity
Lists recent tool calls with the tool name, time, and outcome.
Settings are stored in one option (wcforge_settings) shared with Forge Pro, so switching editions keeps your configuration.
