Admin Dashboard

Navigate to WooCommerce → ReturnDesk → Requests to manage all return and exchange requests.


Request List

The list includes a Type column (Return / Exchange) and supports filtering by:

  • Request type (return or exchange)
  • Status (pending, approved, rejected, cancelled)
  • Date range
  • Search by customer name or order number

Request Detail

The detail view shows:

  • Request type (return or exchange)
  • Requested items with quantities
  • Desired exchange items (for exchanges)
  • Calculated refund amount
  • Refund method
  • Status history
  • Email log
  • Restock status (if auto-restock is enabled)

Partial Approvals

When Allow Partial Returns is enabled, the request detail view allows approving a subset of the requested quantity:

  1. Open the request.
  2. In the Items table, adjust the Approved Quantity for each item.
  3. Click Approve with Partial Quantities.
  4. The refund amount recalculates based on approved quantities.
