Switching From...

SwitchUser adds switch controls in four places. They're only shown to users who are allowed to switch, and only for accounts they're allowed to switch into.

Users List

A Switch To action link appears under each eligible user in Users → All Users.

User Profile

When Profile Screen Switch is on, a SwitchUser section with a Switch to this user button appears on the user's profile edit screen. If the account is an administrator and switching into administrators is blocked, it explains that instead.

WooCommerce Order Screen

When WooCommerce Order Screen Switch is on and WooCommerce is active, a Switch to Customer box appears on the order edit screen (classic and HPOS order screens). Useful for:

• reproducing a customer's problem with a specific order
• checking what the customer sees in My Account
• testing checkout or re-order flows as the customer

Admin Bar Search

The Switch User item in the admin bar lets you search users by name or email and switch straight away. See Admin Bar.
