Locked Users
Certain user accounts can be locked from being switched to, regardless of the switcher's role level or grant permissions.
Navigate to Users → Edit User → SwitchGuard and toggle Prevent Switching to This User.
Behaviour for Locked Users
Locked users:
- Do not appear in the floating button search results.
- Do not show a Switch to link in the user list.
- Cannot be targeted by per-user grants.
- Return a permission error if a switch is attempted programmatically.
Use Case: Lock the primary owner account of a WooCommerce store so agency staff cannot accidentally switch to it and make irreversible changes.
